Integrative Bodywork in Fairlawn, Ohio

Sometimes massage alone isn't enough. You may have recurring muscular tension, limited mobility, or areas that continue to feel restricted despite temporary relief.
Integrative Bodywork at Truly Heal Wellness combines targeted hands-on therapy with assisted stretching, mobility work, and corrective movement in one individualized session.
Instead of requiring you to choose between massage, stretch therapy, or corrective exercise, the session is adapted to your body's needs and your goals.
Integrative Bodywork is a comprehensive, individualized session designed for clients who need more than massage or stretching alone.
Hands-on soft-tissue work can be combined with assisted stretching, mobility techniques, and guided corrective movement to work with muscular tension, flexibility, mobility, and movement restrictions within the same appointment.
There is no predetermined routine. Your session is tailored around your current concerns, activity level, goals, and how your body is moving and responding that day.
Depending on your needs, your session may incorporate:

Therapeutic massage and targeted soft-tissue work
Deep tissue techniques
Trigger point and myofascial techniques
Cupping or IASTM
Assisted stretch therapy
PNF or active isolated stretching techniques
Mobility work
Joint-focused movement
Guided corrective exercise
Movement and postural observations
Not every session requires every technique. The goal isn't to fit as many modalities as possible into your appointment. It's to use the appropriate combination for what your body needs.
Appropriate techniques are incorporated at no additional modality fee.
Integrative Bodywork may be a good fit if you:
Have persistent muscular tension or recurring problem areas
Feel stiff or restricted even after massage
Have limited flexibility or mobility
Experience movement restrictions during work, exercise, or everyday activity
Want massage combined with assisted stretching
Could benefit from mobility or corrective movement alongside hands-on care
Have postural or repetitive-use concerns
Are active and want a more comprehensive recovery session
Both services are customized to the individual, but the focus is different.
Therapeutic Massage primarily focuses on hands-on soft-tissue work for muscular tension, soreness, overworked areas, recovery, and regular therapeutic maintenance.
Integrative Bodywork goes beyond massage by intentionally incorporating assisted stretching, mobility work, and/or corrective movement when appropriate.
Simply put:
Therapeutic Massage = primarily hands-on soft-tissue care
Integrative Bodywork = hands-on care + stretching, mobility, and corrective movement
Stretch Therapy places assisted stretching, flexibility, and mobility at the center of the session.
Integrative Bodywork is more comprehensive. Stretching may be incorporated, but it is combined with targeted hands-on soft-tissue work and movement-based strategies when appropriate.
If your primary goal is dedicated assisted stretching and mobility work, choose Stretch Therapy.
If you want hands-on soft-tissue treatment combined with stretching, mobility, or corrective movement, choose Integrative Bodywork.
Integrative Bodywork can be booked as an individual session.
If you're dealing with a more persistent concern and may benefit from a structured approach over multiple sessions, Corrective Care Plans provide a separate option for longer-term care.
